Three Faiths One God

The Holy Quran 2:62

“Those who believe in the Quran, and those who follow the Jewish scriptures And the Christians and the Sabians, Any who believe in Allah (SWT) and the Last Day, and work righteousness, Shall have their reward With their Lord: on them Shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.”

Judaism, Christianity and Islam have many aspects in common and share many beliefs.

All true believers in these great religions believe that the One God  has created the entire universe.  They believe that besides Jesus, Moses and Muhammad, peace be upon them, that almighty God sent many other prophets to humanity.  They believe in the resurrection, heaven and hell, angels, and in good moral values.

In Islam, the first and most fundamental teaching of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Quran is the belief in the oneness of Allah (SWT).  This is the bedrock and foundation of Islam.  All the religions revealed to the prophets have the same essence, the belief and the oneness of God, oneness of our universe, and the oneness of humanity.

Anyone who studies religious literature on a wide scale, will find that the broad principles of the faith of our father Abraham (PBUH) was to believe in one God, to establish a community life of peace with love, good works, religious tolerance and respect for diversity.

Our own existence is the proof of the existence of Allah (G-d).  Nothing comes into being just by itself; it absolutely must have a maker.  Look at the clock; we see it is made of wood, metal, glass, etc.   We will see its form is square, round, etc.  Its purpose is to tell time.  We may not see the designer of the clock, but do we therefore deny the existence of the clockmaker.  We see the vast enormous sky, with its sun, moon and stars.  The sun rises and sets, the moon comes out and disappears from view, day gives way to night and night turns into day, the month and seasons change in absolute order.  All these things we see and know even if we cannot see with our physical eye the creator, can we deny the existence of the One God who created these events?  Our eyes see, our ears hear, our hands feel and we walk with our feet, our minds have the power to comprehend and our hearts feel love, joy, sorrow, compassion and grief.  The true believers in God,  be they  Christians, Jews, or Muslims, do not deny the fact that the One God who brought humanity into existence is the same God that gave us these wonderful gifts.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that “love is a condition of faith and also a condition of getting into paradise; never will you enter paradise until you have faith, and never will you have faith until you practice loving one another”.
