With God’s Name The Merciful Benefactor, The Merciful Redeemer, The Sustainer, Cherisher and Lord of All Worlds, Creator of the heavens, earth and everything therein.
O God, Highly Exalted and Glorified are You, we give praise and thanks to You for the many blessings You have bestowed upon humanity, so many of Your Bounties have we received, all human beings, collectively, could never perceive them all. We believe that there is not a moving creature, small or large in the earth, nor a bird that flies in the air, nor any sea dwelling creature that can exist without the provisions you provide. With you are the keys of the unseen, the treasures that none knows but you. Not even a leaf falls off of a tree without Your knowledge. You know and understand what is in the hearts of humanity.
O God, The Exalted and Most High, we come before You today with sincere prayer for our country, The United States of America. We want to show gratitude for the progress the United States has made in the last century in the fields of medical science, technology, education, scientific research and human rights. The progress of opening the doors of opportunity and encouraging it’s citizens to strive for moral excellence, spiritual excellence and the pursuit of happiness. We are thankful that you have predestined our lives to be here in the United States of America.
O Merciful God, let the United States of America make continued progress in the direction of recognizing and respecting the inherent dignity, worth and value that You, Our Creator has given every human soul. Dear God, Most Merciful, Most Gracious, make America and inspiration to the thoughts of humanities unity and equality. Let America continue to advance on the course of seeing and understanding that women have great capacities for leadership and that Your judgment, O God is not based upon gender, color, nor one’s language. We pray that The United States will remain steadfast on the course of religious freedom, religious tolerance and religious diversity. Please enhance our prestige and influence in the world. Let the prestige and influence of America be used to promote peace, love, brotherhood and justice for humanity at large. Let it be used to acknowledge the mutual rights, cooperation and obligations that we share with other countries.
America! America!
O God, shed Your grace on America
And Crown America’s good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea.
